Orders for wristbands placed before 3 p.m. CST on weekdays go out the next business day! However, please remember that timeline does not apply to orders placed on the weekends. For example, if you place your wristband order on Saturday, it will process Monday and ship Tuesday. For quantities over 5000 and stapled ticket orders, the processing time will be longer (click here for more details).
After your wristband order leaves our facility, UPS determines delivery times. At checkout, you can choose the shipping option that best fits your needs. There's a list of UPS shipping methods on our Online Order Processing page, and here's the shipping time map for UPS Ground.
Event wristbands are synthetic fabric bracelets most commonly used to keep your event secure. You've likely spotted (or even worn!) these narrow paper or plastic bracelets at clubs, festivals, and big, crowded events like golf tournaments. Additionally, because of their utility, our wristbands are durable and comfortable to wear. Event wristbands are great for efficiently identifying paying guests—one quick glance and event staff can spot who has paid and who has not.
DuPont™ Tyvek® is a unique, nonwoven material made of randomly laid and compressed high-density polyethylene fibers. The resulting fabric is incredibly strong and lightweight, and we think it's the best choice for event wristbands. Even though Tyvek® might feel a bit paper-like in hand, it's not—it's a tough, waterproof, and durable fabric. As anyone who has worn a wristband made from Tyvek® knows, tearing it is almost impossible!
Inkjet printers are the optimal printing technology for Tyvek® fabric. Therefore, logos and text printed on Tyvek® have less brightness and clarity than something laser printed on high-gloss paper would. That said, the print on a Tyvek® wristband is long-lasting—it won't smear or rub.
Yes and no! Vinyl wristbands are made in a broad range of materials, one of which is Tyvek®. Our event wristbands are called Tyvek® wristbands as they are crafted of Tyvek®. Vinyl wristbands are made from polypropylene. If you need even more durability and strength or need wristbands to last multiple days, check out our vinyl wristbands.
Tyvek® is excellent for events and multi-day outdoor festivals. It's comfortable to wear, can resist repetitive folding and flexing, and is inexpensive to purchase in large quantities. Additionally, a Tyvek® wristband will last well beyond the length of your event, even if it gets wet! Finally, all our Tyvek® wristbands are also recyclable, as polyethylene is similar to plastic bottles. Visit the Dupont™site for more information on recycling.
They're incredibly durable and secure—Tyvek® event wristbands stay on until they're cut off, so your clients can't transfer wristbands. Thus, your staff can tell at a glance whether they've got a paying patron or a gatecrasher on their hands. At large events with multiple levels of access, event wristbands in various colors or designs make it easy to determine who belongs where. For example, identifying guests over the age of 21 versus those who shouldn't be trying to get a beer at the bar is infinitely easier with an event wristband. Wristbands can also help organize and control your staff and volunteers—spotting who belongs in a controlled-access area is more straightforward when credentials are worn right on the wrist!
All of our wristbands are equipped with tamper-proof adhesive tabs. Once attached, the perforated tab cannot be detached without tearing or destroying the band. If the band is attached snugly on the customer's wrist, it can't be removed unless it's cut off. Additionally, event wristbands are printed with individual numbering, which acts as an additional fraud deterrent.

Yes! We strongly recommend you request our wristband sample kit which contains actual printed wristbands. As we mentioned earlier in the "What is Tyvek®?" FAQ, wristband printing on Tyvek® is different than normal digital printing on white paper. Most Eventgroove customers use event wristbands as proof of entry or ticket purchase to an event or as proof of ID verification for age-restricted events or purchases. Event wristbands can be used for music festivals, pub crawls, concerts, nightclubs, crowd control, all-inclusive resorts, conventions, parties, amusement parks, stadiums, camps, bars, hotels, restaurants, schools, daycare centers, tour groups, crowd management, special privileges, catering, age ID, height restrictions, sporting events, and wherever else you need to sort and efficiently identify your guests.
Absolutely! The use of event wristbands is limited only by your imagination. Many people do find them helpful as press or VIP wristbands. Our VIP Tyvek® wristbands can be printed with unique, high-quality graphics that will show your commitment to providing each of your VIPs with the best experience you can offer. All VIP wristbands are secure and comfortable, and they allow your staff to quickly and easily identify who belongs in special-access VIP areas.
For the most part, custom wristbands can be printed with any design. Our wide, 1" bands allow for a much larger area to customize than other wristbands. However, please keep in mind that the printable area is roughly 0.85" by 7". Since Tyvek® is not paper but rather a strong, waterproof, and durable fabric, inkjet printers are the optimal printing technology. Your logos and text may seem less bright and the edges less sharp than you would expect with laser printing on high-gloss paper. That said, the printing is extremely durable and won't smear or rub off.
Yes! Given that our wristbands are 1" wide, there is a considerable amount of space with which to work. rally We'll work with you and your design to print colors, images, and text that match your event tickets, posters, and event branding.
Our digital printers can print in black ink on colored wristbands or print in full color on white wristbands. If you need white text, we can offer you a workaround by printing a color background on a white wristband. Please keep in mind that event wristbands measure 1" by 10", but the printable area measures 0.85" by 7". You'll see white margins on the top, bottom, left, and right of your event wristbands.
There's a lot of wiggle room here. The printable area of a wristband measures 0.85" by 7", but there's no character limit. Instead, the number of characters you'll be able to fit on your wristband depends on the font style, size, and layout. The less text you use, the better your results will be as larger printing stands out more and is easier to read. If you want a lot of text, we'll help you adjust the font style and size to make it work.
We sure can! For a small fee, we can print any kind of graphic on your wristbands. If you wish to use your logo or image, please save it in a common file format at 300 dpi resolution at print size.
As you consider design, please remember that the printable area of our event wristbands measure 0.85" by 7", which means your logo will be fairly small. Small text within your graphic will probably not be readable, but don't despair! There's a fix for that—in many cases, our design team can erase small text from the graphic. If you like, we can also add the text in a larger font and print it next to the graphic. Please also keep in mind that inkjet printers are the optimal printing technology for Tyvek® fabric. Still, you may notice that logos and text printing on Tyvek® will have less brightness and clarity (for example, sharp edges) than laser printing on high-gloss paper.
